2026 Credit Union Art Competition
Elevate Credit Union are delighted to announce that entries are now open for the 2026 Credit Union Art Competition. The theme for this year’s Credit Union Art Competition is ‘World of Colour’
The competition invites participants to create artworks that depict the theme and explore through their own unique lens.
The competition, now in its 43rd year, is one of the most prominent and longest-running competitions of its type across Ireland. The competition has no age limits and is open for children aged seven years & under right through to 18 years & over (adult).
Year after year we are blown away by the amazing entries that come into us and it is really wonderful to see the creative talent within the community. We can’t wait to see all the amazing entries and of course, there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

All entries must be submitted in either A3 (420mm wide x 297mm high) or A2 (594mm wide x 420mm high) and LANDSCAPE orientation. Other sizes and portrait oriented entries will be disqualified from adjudication.
Closing date for entries to be returned to your local Elevate Credit Union branch is Friday 23rd Oct 2026.
The winning entries from stage one are passed to Chapter for adjudication at a regional (second) stage before the winners only at this level are forwarded to the Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) for final (national) judging.
