April in Review: Empowering Our Community
April in Review: Empowering Our Community
April was a buzzing month at Elevated Credit Union! From the sporting green to the national stage, we’ve been busy supporting the people and projects that make our community shine. Here is a look at some of our recent highlights:
A Thriller on the Green
Our long-standing partnership with Mary Boland and DCS Bowls continues to thrive. We were thrilled to host a highly successful tournament recently, which kept spectators on the edge of their seats with a genuine cliffhanger finish! Congratulations to all the competitors for such a spirited display.
Powering a Greener Future
Sustainability is high on our agenda. Our Lending Manager was delighted to meet with the Solar Meitheal Group in Mount Oval to discuss tailored financing options for solar panels. We are proud to help our members find affordable ways to transition to renewable energy.
Bright Sparks at the RDS
A massive "well done" to the four fantastic students from Gaelscoil Charraig Uí Leighin who represented us at the All Ireland Credit Union Quiz Finals. Competing in the RDS is a huge achievement; they did themselves and the Credit Union proud, and most importantly, they had a brilliant time throughout the journey.
Champions on the Court & Field
Our commitment to women's sport has been front and center this month:
Glanmire Ladies Basketball: As proud sponsors of the Senior Team, we cheered them on all the way to the Women’s Super League Play-off Final. While they were narrowly pipped to the post, their incredible season was an inspiration to us all.
Douglas Camogie: The support didn't stop there! We were also very happy to kit out the Douglas U16 Camogie team with their new jerseys. We look forward to seeing them dominate on the pitch this season.
