Join Us for the 5th Annual Elevate Credit Union Charity 5K – Support Féileacáin and Make a Difference!

We’re excited to announce that the fifth Elevate Credit Union Charity 5K is just around the corner! Lace up your running shoes and mark your calendars for Sunday, October 6th, 2024, at 11 AM, as we take to the scenic paths of Tramore Valley Park in Cork City. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just want to enjoy a lovely walk with family and friends, this event promises to be a fun-filled day for all.

Why Should You Take Part?

This isn't just about fitness – it’s about coming together as a community to support a cause that touches so many. All proceeds from the event will go to Féileacáin, a not-for-profit organisation that provides vital support to families affected by the loss of a baby during or after pregnancy. By participating in this 5K, you’ll help Féileacáin continue its invaluable work, offering comfort and care to those who need it most.

• Location: Tramore Valley Park, Cork City
• Entry Fee: €13 (€12 + €1 online fee)
  Under 16s: €7 (€6 + €1 online fee)
  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Feeling Fast? Break the Record!

For those who want to push their limits, there’s an extra challenge! Break the current course records – 15:49 for men and 17:36 for women – and you’ll take home a €100 bonus. Think you’ve got what it takes?

The Course:

This is a chip-timed race (courtesy of popupraces.ie) and covers two loops of a smooth, tarmac-surfaced 2.5km route. While there’s a small hill near the recycling centre, we promise it’s no big deal! Runners, joggers, walkers, and even buggies are welcome, so bring the whole family along.
